Hi! I’ve seen the example setup with a small waterfall. I am interested in adding a waterfall feature and have found small, self contained (recycle its own water), waterfalls online. Is there a way to thread the power cord out of the SmartTerra?

Found a solution! I used the fountain linked below. I had to cut a small hole in the feed hole of the lid rim and take out one of the slats in the cover so the plug could fit through. Fountain is up and running. I’ll add some pictures but feel free to post additional questions.

Design Toscano Fountain--Rocky Range Pass Cascading Tabletop Fountain. I made a short video so you can see it in action. It fits inside a 10 gallon tank nicely.

@j.dunne.84136 That is a very smart fix!! Thank you so much for sharing. I am sure this will be helpful for many many people. Please do share additional photos once you get it up and running. (: Looking forward to seeing them. 😊
I can't seem to find information about or photos of the power cord in the Amazon link. Regardless, you would be able to cut a dent/hole in the tank for the cable to run through. You can use a drill for this.

Hi @j.dunne.84136! Thanks for reaching out. Can you please send the link/photo of the waterfall you have found? I would like to look at what the power cord looks like. Thanks!
I have been considering drilling a hole in the rear of the tank and installing a grommet for cables such as the moisture probe, and as you say, a possible power cable for a waterfall. If I don't do that, I will probably have to route it through the water reservoir and bring it up through the drain.
